UViprim VY
UViprim VY, UV curing ink intended for printing on rigid PVC, self-adhesive supports and polycarbonate.UViprim VY, UV curing ink intended for printing on rigid PVC, self-adhesive supports and polycarbonate.
It is also used for printing on PLV cardboard. NVP FREE.
Use
The UViprim VY range is intended for printing on rigid PVC, self-adhesive foils, polycarbonate, paper and cardboard.
Good results have been obtained on pre-treated polypropylene like Priplak® or Akylux® by mixing the ink with 5% of hardener.
Ready to use, we recommend a mesh between 140 to 180 threads/cm.
Polymerization
The polymerization speed depends on several parameters, particularly the printed thickness, the opacity, the colour and the type of support, the type and number of UV lights.
Due to the various configurations proposed, tests are required before starting prining.
The white colour and the tints (containing white) cure more slowly.
To obtain a good adherence, the ink must be polymerized correctly.
For superposition of layers, the 1st layer must not be over polymerized.
In addition, the adherence between the various colours must be checked from time to time during the process.
